These are L shaped shelf brackets made of steel with an ivory white finish. The clean right angle gives you a simple, classic support for a wood shelf. Each bracket is 1/16 in (2 mm) thick, so the profile stays slim against the wall while the steel body carries the shelf above it.
The set is sold as a pack of 2, which is the usual count for one shelf. The white color blends with light walls, painted cabinets and bright rooms, and it also works as a quiet base under natural wood.
One size is offered, and the numbers below cover the full bracket. The first figure is the height along the wall, the second is the depth out from the wall, and the third is the thickness of the steel.
| Measurement | Inches | Metric |
|---|---|---|
| Height | 5-7/8 in | 150 mm |
| Depth | 3-3/4 in | 95 mm |
| Thickness | 1/16 in | 2 mm |
A 5-7/8 in (150 mm) height gives you a solid run of steel down the wall, and the 3-3/4 in (95 mm) depth suits shelves of a similar width. Check your shelf depth before you buy so the bracket does not stick out past the front edge.
The only color is ivory white. It reads as a soft white rather than a bright paper white, so it sits well next to off white trim, cream cabinets and pale painted walls. The finish covers the steel on all visible faces, and the flat sides take paint well if you ever want to match a different wall color.
Because the color is fixed, plan the rest of the shelf around it. White brackets under a stained wood board give a light, open look. The same brackets under a white painted board almost disappear.
These brackets are made for woodworking and wall mount support. The L shape is a standard fit for floating style shelves, where the board sits on top of the horizontal arm and the vertical arm fixes to the wall.
A few points that make the job go smoothly:
The steel body is stiff for its thickness, so a pair carries a normal wood shelf with books, jars or small plants. Keep the load spread across the shelf rather than piled in one spot.
Wipe the brackets with a soft damp cloth and dry them after. A mild soap is fine for marks. Skip abrasive pads and strong solvents, which can dull the white finish. If you paint over them, a light sand first helps the new coat grip. Check the screws once or twice a year and tighten any that have worked loose.
The set is sold as a pack of 2. That is enough for one shelf in most cases. For a long or heavy shelf, order two packs so you can support the ends and the middle.
Each bracket measures 5-7/8 x 3-3/4 x 5/8 in (150 x 95 x 16 mm). The steel is 1/16 in (2 mm) thick. The 3-3/4 in (95 mm) depth suits a shelf of a similar width.
They come in ivory white only. The finish takes paint well, so you can recoat them to match a wall or shelf. A light sand before painting helps the new coat hold.
