The Grip Silicone Door Stop Wedge is a small block of silicone shaped to slide under the bottom edge of a door. The wedge tapers from a thick back to a thin front lip, so it pushes in easily and then holds. The silicone has a slight give, which lets it press against the door and the floor without scratching either one. It also softens the contact point if a door swings toward a wall.
Silicone is the only material here. There is no metal plate, no adhesive strip and no hardware to mount. The wedge sits on the floor and stays in place by friction.
One size is offered, and it is the same for every color.

Each order is a single wedge. If you want a stop for more than one door, order the number you need.
Use it on hard floors and low-pile carpet. The wedge slides under a door and holds it at whatever point you set. That makes it useful for a bedroom door you want to keep open for air, a closet door that will not stay put, or an office door that drifts closed while you carry things through.
It also works as a wall guard. When a door is open and something nudges it, the wedge takes the contact instead of the door edge hitting the wall. The silicone is soft enough to absorb that small knock.
A few notes on fit. The gap under the door needs to be tall enough for the wedge to enter. Most interior doors have enough clearance. Very thick rugs or deep thresholds may keep the wedge from seating. On a slick floor, the silicone grips well, but a very light door may still slide if it is pushed hard.
Set the door where you want it. Push the thin end of the wedge under the door with your foot or hand. Keep pushing until the wedge is snug and the door stops moving. To release, pull the wedge out by the back edge.
For a wall guard, place the wedge so the door edge meets the thick part of the silicone rather than the wall. You can leave it in place on the floor between uses, or pick it up and store it in a drawer.
Wipe the wedge with a dry cloth. That is all it needs. If dust or grit builds up on the silicone, a dry wipe keeps the surface clean and the grip steady. Do not soak it or put it in a dishwasher.
The silicone comes in eight colors, from Clear and White to Black and Brown. Pick a color that blends with the floor, or one that stands out so you can find it. The surface is smooth and matte, and it will not scuff a painted door or a wood floor.
No. The wedge is made of soft silicone, so it presses against the door and floor without scratching. It also cushions the door edge if it meets a wall.
It measures 3-3/4 x 1-5/8 x 1-1/16 in (95 x 40 x 27 mm). That is the only size offered, and it is the same for every color.
Each order is a single wedge. If you need stops for several doors, order the number you want.
It works best on hard floors and low-pile carpet. Very thick or deep-pile carpet may keep the wedge from seating under the door.
