3. Slide the latch into the door edge and screw it in place.
4. Fit the strike plate to the frame so it lines up with the latch.
5. Mount the handle halves on each side of the door and tighten the screws.
6. Test the lever and the key before you close the door for the first time.

Screws are included, so you do not need to source them. A screwdriver and a drill with the right bits are the main tools. If you are replacing an old set, keep the old latch in place only if it matches the new one, otherwise swap in the new latch and strike plate for a clean fit.
