What this set is

This is a pack of six interior door handles for the BMW 3 Series. Each handle is made from ABS plastic, a hard material that holds its shape and wipes clean. The set covers the handles inside the cabin, so you can refresh a worn or broken handle without hunting for single parts.

Six handles come in the pack. That covers the four doors plus two spares, or a full set with room to keep one on hand. The handles use clips and screws to fix in place, the same fittings your door panel already uses.

Size and fit

Each handle measures 6 x 2 in (150 x 50 mm). Check this against the handle you are replacing before you order.

The set is made for the BMW 3 Series E90, E91 and E92 built between 2005 and 2012. It is not for vehicles other than those models. Left-hand drive and right-hand drive cars use different handles, so pick the option that matches your car.

Colors

Four finishes are available: black, beige, carbon fiber and gray. Black and beige match common factory interiors. Carbon fiber has a woven look. Gray sits between the two and suits lighter cabins.

Each color comes in both left-hand drive and right-hand drive versions. Match the color to your existing trim, and match the drive side to your car.

How to fit them

The handles fix with clips and screws. You will need to remove the door panel to reach the back of the handle, then release the old clips and screws and set the new handle in place.

Work on one door at a time so you can compare the new handle with the old one. Keep the screws you remove in a cup or tray. When you refit the panel, press the clips in firmly and check that the handle moves freely before you close the door.

If a handle feels loose, the clips are not seated. Pull the panel back and press them down again.

Care

Wipe the handles with a dry cloth. A dry cloth lifts dust and fingerprints without leaving residue on the plastic. Avoid wet cloths and harsh cleaners, which can dull the finish over time.

Before you order

Confirm three things: your car is a BMW 3 Series E90, E91 or E92 from 2005 to 2012, your car is left-hand drive or right-hand drive, and the color matches your interior. This set is not for any other vehicle.

If you are unsure which drive side you have, sit in the driver seat. If the steering wheel is on the left, you have a left-hand drive car.
