On double doors, two ordinary pulls side by side look like two things. A left and a right split pull look like one. Order them in pairs for wardrobes, hutches, sideboards and double base cabinets, and use a single one on a drawer or a single door if you like the shape on its own.
The pull is 13/16 in (21 mm) wide and stands about 13/16 in (20 mm) off the door. That low profile suits doors in a tight hallway or a closet, where a deeper pull would catch on clothes.
Left and right are mirror images. Choose one of each per pair of doors and mount them with the flat faces toward each other across the gap, or away from each other; the pair stays symmetrical either way.
The brushed brass has a fine grain and a soft gold color. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it; skip abrasive pads and ammonia sprays.
Mark both doors at the same height before you drill, measuring from the top of each door rather than from the floor, which is rarely level. Set each pull the same distance from the gap so the two halves line up. Two screws from inside the door hold each pull. On wall cabinets, a pair set low on the doors is easy to reach; on base cabinets, set them high.
The split pull pairs well with round brass knobs on small doors and with a smooth brushed brass bar on drawers, as long as the finishes match. Keep the split pulls for pairs of doors, where the mirrored shape has a reason to be there.
For a pair of doors, yes: one left and one right make the mirrored pair. For a single door or drawer, either one works on its own.
Use the 5-1/16 in (128 mm) size on wardrobe and tall cabinet doors, and the 3-3/4 in (96 mm) size on base cabinets, vanities and drawers.
Yes, the pull is solid brass with a brushed finish, the same metal all the way through.
Yes. On a drawer it reads as a half-round lip. Fit it with the flat face up or down, depending on whether you reach for the drawer from above or below.
Yes, unused pulls can come back within 30 days, so you can order every pair you need and send back any you don't fit.
Set each pull about 1 to 2 in (2.5 to 5 cm) from the gap between the doors. Close together, the pair reads as one split shape; further apart, it looks like two separate pulls.
