This is a round cabinet knob made of solid brass. The antique bronze finish gives it a warm, aged look that suits wood cabinets, painted drawers and older furniture. It has a smooth round shape with a small base, so it sits close to the surface and feels solid in the hand. Each knob weighs 119 g, which is a good sign of real brass rather than a light hollow casting.
The knob is sold as a single piece. That helps when you are replacing one broken knob or adding a knob to a single drawer. If you need a full set, order the number you need.
This listing covers several round brass knobs. Each option has its own height and shape. The table below shows what you can pick.
| Option | Knob width | Height |
|---|---|---|
| Knob with base | 1-1/8 in (29 mm) | 1-7/16 in (37 mm) |
| Knob with base | 13/16 in (21 mm) | 1 in (25 mm) |
| Knob with base | 15/16 in (24 mm) | 1-1/8 in (29 mm) |
| Ball knob | 3/4 in (19 mm) | 11/16 in (17 mm) |
| Ball knob | 1-1/8 in (29 mm) | 1-1/8 in (29 mm) |
| Ball knob | 15/16 in (24 mm) | 7/8 in (22 mm) |
| Knob with stem | 3/4 in (19 mm) | 15/16 in (24 mm) |
| Knob with stem | 15/16 in (24 mm) | 1-1/8 in (29 mm) |
| Knob with stem | 1-1/8 in (29 mm) | 1-5/16 in (33 mm) |
The knob with base is the classic shape. The ball knob is fully round with no base. The knob with stem has a longer neck, which works well on thicker drawer fronts. All options come in the same antique bronze color and the same solid brass material.
Every knob in this listing has an antique bronze finish. The color is a deep brown bronze with lighter highlights on the raised areas. It reads as an old brass piece rather than a shiny new one. That makes it a good match for traditional kitchens, farmhouse furniture, vintage dressers and bathroom vanities.
Because the finish is antique, small changes in tone from knob to knob are normal. That is part of the look. If you want a very even, polished finish, this may not be the right choice.
Each knob fixes from the back with two M4 screws. Two screw lengths are included: 1 in (25 mm) and 1-3/4 in (45 mm). Use the shorter screw for standard drawer fronts and the longer screw for thicker panels.
To fit a knob, drill a hole in the drawer or door front. The hole needs to line up with the threaded posts on the back of the knob. Push the screw through from the inside of the drawer and thread it into the knob. Tighten by hand until the knob sits firm against the surface. Do not over tighten, since brass threads can strip if you force them.
This knob is not for doors thicker than 2 in (50 mm). If your drawer front or door is thicker than that, the included screws will not reach.
Wipe the knob with a dry cloth. That is all it needs. Avoid wet cloths, polish and harsh cleaners, since they can dull the antique finish or leave marks. A quick dry wipe now and then keeps the surface even and free of dust.
It is sold as a single knob. Each order includes one knob and two M4 screws. Order the number of knobs you need for your cabinets or drawers.
Two screw lengths are included: 1 in (25 mm) and 1-3/4 in (45 mm). Both are M4 screws that fix from the back of the drawer or door.
It fits most standard cabinet and dresser fronts. The knob is not for doors thicker than 2 in (50 mm). Check your panel thickness before you order.
Wipe the knob with a dry cloth. Skip wet cloths and polish, since they can change the antique look of the brass.
