What these knobs are

These are round cabinet knobs made from zinc alloy. The shape is a plain circle with a gently domed face, so there is nothing to catch on a sleeve or a dish towel. The finish is even across the face and the stem, which keeps the look clean on a row of drawers.

Each knob fixes with one screw from the back. You drill or use the existing hole, push the screw through from the inside of the door or drawer front, and thread it into the knob. That is the whole job. No backplate, no second hole, no bracket.

Zinc alloy holds its shape well under daily pulling and twisting, which is why it is common on kitchen and bath hardware. To clean, wipe with a dry cloth.

Sizes and what they fit

Measurement Imperial Metric
Diameter 1-3/16 in 30 mm
Depth 7/8 in 22 mm
Screw length A 1 in 25 mm
Screw length B 1-3/4 in 45 mm
Max door thickness 1-3/4 in 45 mm

The 1-3/16 in (30 mm) face is a middle size. It reads clearly on a standard drawer front without crowding a narrow one. On a wide cabinet door, a knob this size works as a single pull, or you can pair two on a tall door if the holes are already there.

The two screw lengths cover most cabinet work. The 1 in (25 mm) screw suits standard drawer fronts and thin doors. The 1-3/4 in (45 mm) screw reaches through thicker doors and built-up drawer fronts. Both lengths come in the pack, so you can match the screw to the panel in front of you instead of hunting for hardware later.

These knobs are not for doors thicker than 1-3/4 in (45 mm). If your door is deeper than that, the included screws will not reach.

Colors

Pick gold or black when you order.

Gold brings a warm, bright note to painted cabinets, wood tones and white vanities. It shows well against dark stains and deep greens.

Black reads as a quiet line against light cabinets and works on farmhouse, modern and traditional kitchens alike. On dark wood it nearly disappears, which some people want and some do not, so hold a sample up to your door if you are unsure.

Both colors use the same round shape and the same zinc alloy body. Only the finish changes.

Where they work

Kitchen cabinet knobs are the most common use. Upper doors, lower doors, drawer fronts and pull-out trays all take the same knob.

Dresser knobs are the second. Bedroom furniture, nightstands, chests and wardrobes usually have a single hole per drawer, and one screw from the back fits that hole.

Bathroom vanities, linen cabinets and laundry room cupboards are also fair game. Zinc alloy stands up to a humid room as long as you keep the surface dry and wipe it now and then.

You can also use them on built-in shelving, a mudroom bench with drawers, or a home office credenza. Anywhere a round knob makes sense, these will fit, as long as the panel is 1-3/4 in (45 mm) or thinner.

Fitting notes

Check the hole in your door or drawer front before you order. These knobs need one hole per knob, sized for the screw. If your cabinet currently has a bar pull with two holes, a single knob will not cover both.

Line up the screw with the hole, push it through from the back, and turn the knob on by hand. Tighten until the knob sits flat against the face. Do not over tighten, since that can mark a soft wood or painted finish.

If a knob feels loose after a few months of use, a quarter turn on the screw from inside the drawer usually settles it.

Keep the spare screws. If you swap a drawer front later, or add a thicker panel somewhere, the longer screw in the pack may be the one you need.

Care

Wipe with a dry cloth. That is enough for dust, fingerprints and everyday kitchen film. Avoid soaking the knob or leaving water pooled around the stem, and skip harsh cleaners and abrasive pads, which can dull the finish over time.

Questions

How many knobs come in one pack?

Each pack holds 25 knobs. That covers a full kitchen of drawers and doors in most homes, or a dresser set with spares left over.

What screws are included?

You get 1 in (25 mm) and 1-3/4 in (45 mm) screws. The short screw fits standard drawer fronts, and the long one reaches through thicker doors.

Will these fit my cabinet doors?

They fit doors up to 1-3/4 in (45 mm) thick. Each knob needs one hole and fixes with a single screw from the back. They are not for doors thicker than 1-3/4 in (45 mm).

What colors can I choose?

Gold and black. Both use the same round zinc alloy body, so only the finish changes between them.
