What it is and what it is made of

The Glass Door Knob is a single handle for glass doors, shower enclosures, cabinets and cupboards. It is made of aluminum and 304 stainless steel. The knob sits close to the door and gives your fingers a natural place to grip.

One size fits most glass doors and cabinet panels. The knob measures 2-7/16 x 1-3/16 in (62 x 30 mm) overall, with a 1-3/16 in (30 mm) diameter at the face. Weight is 100 g or 290 g depending on the variant.

Colors

Choose from two finishes at checkout:

  • Black: a deep black that disappears against dark frames and tinted glass.
  • Brushed silver: a soft silver with a fine grain that matches stainless steel frames and hardware.

Where it works

This knob is made for glass. Use it on shower doors, cabinet doors, cupboard fronts, window panels and kitchen cabinet doors. It also works on any flat panel where you want a low-profile pull instead of a bar handle.

Because it mounts with a screw, it suits doors and panels that already have a drilled hole or that you plan to drill.

A few places it fits well:

  • Glass shower enclosures and tub surrounds
  • Bathroom vanity and linen cabinet doors
  • Kitchen upper cabinet doors
  • Display cabinets and window panels
  • Cupboard doors in a laundry or mud room

How to fit it

  1. Check the mounting hole in your door or panel. The knob mounts with a screw through the face.
  2. Mark the spot if you are drilling a new hole. Measure twice so the knob sits level with any neighboring hardware.
  3. Slide the screw through the panel and thread the knob onto it.
  4. Turn until snug. Do not over-tighten against glass. A firm hand-tight fit is enough.
  5. Wipe the face with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints from handling.

If you are replacing an existing knob, keep the old screw until you confirm the new one fits your panel depth. Glass doors vary, and a longer screw may be needed for a thick frame.

Care

Wipe the knob with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap when needed. Dry it right away with a clean cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powder and harsh cleaners, which can dull the finish on both the black and brushed silver versions.

Tighten the screw once or twice a year if the knob starts to feel loose. That is the only maintenance this pull needs.
