The Clear Adhesive Wall Hook

What this hook is

This is a small adhesive hook made of PP. It has a self-adhesive backing, so it presses straight onto a surface and holds without screws, anchors or a drill. Each hook measures 2.36 x 2.36 in (60 x 60 mm).

The hook is clear, which helps it sit quietly on tile, glass, painted walls and cabinet doors. It is a simple way to add a spot for keys, a towel or a light kitchen tool where you need one.

Pack sizes

You choose the pack size when you order. Every pack uses the same hook.

A larger pack suits a whole room or a few rooms at once. A smaller pack suits a single spot, like the inside of a pantry door or the wall by an entry.

Where it works

These hooks suit smooth, flat, clean surfaces. Good spots include tile, glass, metal, sealed wood and painted walls with a smooth finish. They are handy by a door for keys, in a bathroom for a towel, in a kitchen for a light utensil or a small pan, and inside a cabinet for a cloth.

They are not for heavy loads. Keep them to light items, and use a different fixing for coats, bags, tools or anything with real weight. Rough, bumpy, dusty or peeling surfaces do not give the backing a good grip.

How to fit and use it

1. Clean the surface. Wipe off dust, grease and moisture, then let it dry fully.
2. Peel the backing off the hook.
3. Press the hook onto the surface and hold it for a few seconds.
4. Let the adhesive settle before you hang anything on it.
5. Hang a light item and check that the hook sits flat.

For the best hold, fit the hook to a smooth surface and keep the load light. If you place a hook and change your mind, work it off slowly rather than pulling hard.

Care

Wipe the hook with a dry cloth when it needs a clean. Skip water, sprays and harsh cleaners, which can loosen the backing. If a hook starts to lift, press it back down on a dry surface and keep the load light.
